Perhaps, but I wouldn't you agree then that when people are unaware that they are being watched, that they act the truest to their actual nature? I simply want people to express honest opinions without informing them that I am doing so. However the response on my end are to simply see what else I can gather; even though these won't be taken in to account.

The argument is about the OWS movement itself. Inciting arguments is simply a way to get people to show their true feelings. I'm am not arguing the ethics of what I am doing, simply collecting opinions on OWS and reactions to written stimuli on a personal level.

I was using this submission as a data-gathering study on difference in opinion for a research paper. The picture I simply found on Tumblr, I submitted it because I knew it would be a hot-bed of comments and people speaking honestly.

Personally my parents pay my health insurance, and I have I was trying to answer every comment last night in attempt to get for data. Sorry if I came off as a dickbag, but most of my comments back were made to invoke a response.

Well, let me run through it like this. I'm working on a research paper for my ethics class, in this paper we need to show real life difference in opinions for current issues. I thought OWS to be a very touchy issue right now, so I found this picture on Tumblr and simply submitted it to see what kind of reaction it would get. To my surprise it received almost 800+ comments. This is SO much data, more than I could have dreamed of. All of which are different opinions and view points on the same issue. That's why I said thanks, not to be a dick; but Thank you for expressing your honest thoughts that will be in my paper.

Thank you so much for the info! I myself am gathering data for a research paper. The likes of which is in part, based on difference in opinion on public issues. Reddit seemed a good place if any to conduct this litte "test" considering I can cover people from all over the globe and their views on the OWS matter; So for that I thank you for your view of the issue, and have a nice evening!
