Just to play devil's advocate:

1) there are a fair number of obese (though physically active) NFL players.

2) One theory as to why women live longer than men is they're smaller. Their hearts have to do a lot less work over the course of their lives. The average NFL player is significantly larger than the average man. This will also negatively impact their lifespan.

3) What % of NFL players do you think use PEDs? Be honest. What % of normal men use PEDs? PEDs (steroids mostly) enlarge the heart and negatively impact lifespan.

What I don't understand is this guy ~~bribed~~ donated $1+ million to Rick Perry to help this thing get through, has donated $18 mil to unseat Obama (and plans to double that) and probably has spent more in a lot of other areas of government to cut through red tape... why not just buy a new tract of land that's not on the aquifer? Is he just an asshole? Maybe he owns bottled water companies?

I have no idea how good an idea this is... but the shuttle passes are designed to get you hotels, basically, right? Why not park at the nearest hotel and leave your car there? Maybe since it's Coachella weekend and packed they'll be watching out for this, but who knows?

Maybe all the years of losing made me pessimistic but in spite of all the other plausible explanations for what's going on, I just can't shake the sense that this is all part of Condon's plan to get Smith a bigger contract. With Smith pissed at the niners and visiting other teams, he'll be ripe for some extra "soothing" money when talks with Condon's other client (also angling for a bigger payday) fall through.
