I guess it makes no sense to me because its all done on computers. Once they input the account and routing numbers, shouldn't the two banks be able to communicate with each other fairly quickly and know if the money is there? For example, if I send you an email it shows up in your inbox within seconds of me sending it. Why don't banks work the same way?

I find it interesting as an alternate viewpoint. I've been interested in mythology since I was young. Since I've gotten older, different world theologies have perked that same interest. Not as a matter of fact, but more because it interests me to see what people believe.
