I think its sweet that you're so concerned, but I don't think you have much reason to be. I've been working with dogs for a decade (trainer, groomer, vet assistant) and I see these sores fairly often. I can't be certain, of course, but they do appear to be some sort of 'hot spot'. Warts can come and go without much to write home about, but hot spots need a little more attention.

Don't let your pup lick them, keep the areas clean clean clean, and check back in with the vet if the sore spreads or if inflammation is present.
