I don't think it's fair to say that "it wasn't that bad" if you weren't there. It sure looked quite bad from here.

Also, keep in mind that he gets out of the car just 15 seconds after the crash. I think it would be fair to give him at least a minute to calm down and realize what has happened.

Shock is not just about how hard you were hit. Dude most likely thought that he was about to die, which results in a shitload of various chemicals being released in the brain. When in shock, you have a lot more strength (I've seen people get hit by a car and then try to stand up and walk away, but they can't because their legs are broken), but any logical thinking turns off completely.

I was once in a car crash, the driver was inexperienced, slid off the road and hit a tree. After the crash I just sat on the roadside for some 5 minutes before realizing that my glasses fell off. It took us all a while to realize that we should probably call for help.

Yes, but insurance companies sometimes can take weeks to sort such things out. Some of them are kind enough to offer a replacement car while yours is being fixed, but not all of them do.

Other companies just tell you to go to your dealership-approved shop, fix the car and then send the receipt back to the insurance company, which will then try to get the money from the truck driver's insurance company and give it back to you, which in some cases could take months.

Of course, this particular situation is a bit easier because of the dashcam, so it probably won't take that long, but still. Maybe he was on his way to a date or something, yet now he will be stuck on some mountain road with a (possibly drunk) trucker.

I'm sick of hearing those excuses. They're bullshit, they don't prove/add/explain anything. Pop over to r/exmuslim, there are plenty of people who did read it in the original arabic, yet they still think that it's all bullshit.
Yes, everything I read was in a reliable copy. I also cross-checked with other translations, they all have the same meaning, even if they use slightly different words.

Yet this one is accurate. As muslims in /r/Islam have pointed out, this is one of the most reliable hadiths of them all. It's not a metaphor and not a dream. It's reality, according to them. That's why I think that they're dumb.

Oh, and look up mufa’khathat, it's real and most scholars agree that Mohammed was indeed doing that to the little Aisha.
Also, there was an AMA a few days ago by some girl who was forced into an arranged marriage in Saudi Arabia when she was little. Her husband (40+ year old man) was doing the same to her, and that was only some 20 years ago, so the practise is not unheard of.

However, I've played in an orchestra for a few years myself, we got some first places in international competitions too, so we weren't bad. I can assure you that we were able to play pretty well without the conductor. The trick is that in every orchestra there's a leading player (usually the trumpet) who maintains the constant tempo. Either him or the drummer is enough to keep the rest of the orchestra in line.

Then there's hadith: life and sayings of their prophet mohammed. Among those you'll find even more crazy shit, like killing the infidels, owning sex slaves, fucking little girls (if they haven't had their first period yet, then muslims are only allowed to rub their penises between the girls' thighs). Oh, there's also a flying horse, which apparently is one of the most reliable hadiths ever.
