You're always welcome to leave and come back, I made the club public again to try and cycle out the inactives.

I've been a bit busy over the last few weeks and definitely slowed down on the tournament scheduling, I'd like to add a few more mods to keep up on the club activity, I'll probably post a new thread about it in a bit, any interest?

Thanks for the feedback everybody, I've removed 5 inactive users, and invited a few higher level players. I'll also open up the club for public membership, and start removing a few inactive members a week.

Also, I agree that 4 round weekly tournaments are a bit much, so I'll dial it back to 2 rounds each.

I've been a bit busy for a few weeks but should be more involved from now on, love the feedback guys, keep it up.

Back to the original point of this thread though, why limit the performance of the tires on purpose? Does it benefit racing, or the sport, or just add a hurtle for no reason?

All the regulations for smaller wings, no double diffusers, no blown diffusers, etc. The regulations are specifically trying to curtail the development of more aerodynamics and general testing, so that money doesn't necessarily equal victory.

I agree as well. I can understand regulations that are meant to create competitive racing, but I don't see how bad tires help. Restrict the down force, impose all the engine/transmission limits, but don't handicap the tires.

Wouldn't better tires would benefit all teams equally?

I'm going to be removing a few inactive members soon, as I know of a few people who are very active and want to join the club.

I think people will come and go, and there might be some slow weeks where members play other games and work on their career mode, so we'll see how it all balances out.

We already set up a subreddit for the PS3 country club named "Reddit", and a Xbox CC has joined us. I guess creating another one can't hurt. I've set mine to private and will let users know once there's an opening.

I like the updates they've made to the swing mechanics and graphics. Country clubs add a lot of fun to the online gaming. If you liked previous TW games, this one is the best.

It does have some faults. Framerate lags, stupid ball drops from "unplayable" lies, and no playoffs for tournament ties.
