This is probably just me, but I find that nearly all zip-up jackets look weird once they're zipped up. I always, unless it's terribly cold, wear my zip-ups open.

IMO it's a thing that happens with any ribbed hem jacket. They're kinda made to do that. If you get a jacket without a ribbed hem it shouldn't have a reason to bunch up like that unless it's really tight at the waist.

It was a thrift store grab. The tag says it's from Standard Cloth. Can't find it online anywhere... sorry.

It's from Banana Republic. Although, it was much cheaper in store because of a sale going on. I believe I paid $30 for it.

My google fu says that "Standard Cloth" is an Urban Outfitter's brand. I don't know how to decode their tags, but I found one in a darker shade in XL on e-bay, if that's your thing.

edit: Whoops! Turns out the above jacket is M-65 styled, and the OP's jacket is not. Still--I'd say if you're looking for OP's jacket, it's made by urban outfitters.

There are jackets that are close to that design/color (even by the same brand) but don't have the same pocket placement as OP's jacket. Something about the placement of those two front pockets works really well, as opposed to standard bomber jacket pocket placement.

Yeah, I agree. I don't like the cut, the pockets, and the racer collar, but I absolutely love the herringbone (and it fits well for a thrift store find).
