They took a PR hit post-Prop 8. Now they're running ads trying to convince themselves that they're normal. This ad is our Ex-Mormon response that campaign.

And he never really said WHY he quit the church.
The obvious rebuttal would be "I'm still a Mormon and I do all those neat things."

I was wondering that too. Was there a time limit on the ad? It seemed to just end immediately after the ex-Mo reveal rather than giving the viewer time to let it sink in. Also since the title reveals him as an ex-Mormon it seems strange to conceal that information for the majority of the video.
