This story made me happy; I'm glad that local governments will uphold laws even when they don't agree with the content. Thanks for submitting this story.

There have been battles raging for years over the ten commandments being allowed display on state property. In Alabama in 2002, a judge was removed from the bench for refusing to have removed a 2-ton version. And the Supremes have both upheld the right to display and negated that right, on different findings. It would seem that the Constitution would be the final arbiter of this, but apparently that is not good enough. We have to continue to fight and make our points. Sigh I'm not sure whether religion just sucks, or whether it's the religionists. What I am sure of is that if there is a God, It must facepalm Itself repeatedly.
