The 1st time i saw an axe commercial, where some guy sprayed himself with the crap and then was instantly surrounded by dozens of hot chicks fawning over him, i found it hilarious and insulting at the same time. I thought "Ha! This must be a joke, like a satire of bad commercials. Noone is dumb enough to fall for that, this company won't be around long at all." And changed the channel feeling satisfied.

Now i am very, very sad.

It's so bad that many schools have had to flat out ban body sprays.

I would be less concerned with the marketing and psychology and more concerned about the constant exposure to chemicals. Some of the ingredients in those cosmetic products are toxic.
